La Biscuitery Delivery Options

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RATES ON LABISCUITERY.COM AND THE SHIPPING CONDITIONS DO NOT APPLY TO WHOLESALE, CUSTOM OR CORPORATE ORDERS.

 

1. La Biscuitery offers five delivery options

a) Local pick-up at one of the two locations. Customer service will contact you to fix a time and date to ensure your order is ready when you are.

b) La Biscuitery Local Delivery - option available for the Greater Montréal Area residents. Customer service will contact you to setup a delivery time and date.

c) UPS Express Shipping Canada - Usually arrives 1-2 business days from purchase date, if the order is placed before 11 AM (EST) from Monday to Wednesday; if the order is placed before 11 AM Thursday, we will do our best it leaves the same day, otherwise it ships on Monday. To ensure freshness, we never ship on Fridays.

d) UPS of FedEx Express Shipping USA - Usually arrives 1-2 business days from purchase date, if the order is placed before 11 AM (EST) from Monday to Thursday; if the order is placed before 11 AM Friday, we will do our best it leaves the same day for a Saturday delivery, otherwise it ships on Monday. 

e) International Shipping by air

 

2. Delivery Terms

Orders placed before 11 AM are shipped D + 1 or later. Orders placed after 11 AM are shipped D+2 or later. These are estimates only. Actual shipping times vary by location and products ordered. Before an order is shipped, it is processed. Processing times vary depending the order size, holidays and seasons. Contact us with questions should you have any questions.

 

3. Delivery by Collection

We invite you to review the Shipping options per product to ensure you get the products you ordered. Otherwise a refund will be issued.

 

4. Important Information

a) We only fulfill one delivery option per purchase. If you have different products, please make different purchases.

b) Delivery zones are the following:

i. Local pickup: option appears when it is available in your area

ii. La Biscuitery Delivery: option appears when it is available in your area (10Km radius from the Head Office)

iii. Flat Rate Shipping Canada: available for the provinces of Québec, Ontario, Alberta and British Colombia. 

iv. Flat Rate Shipping USA: available for continental USA (excludes Alaska).

v. International Shipping

c) We reserve the right to cancel and refund a purchase for remote areas.

 

5. La Biscuitery Local Delivery Times

Monday to Friday 9AM to 3PM

 

6. Sending a Gift

We are paperless, we never include a printed receipt with the package. We will be happy to add a hand written note for a gift to a special someone if requested. When sending a gift we recommend including a personalized message indicating your name so the person knows it is from you.

 

7. Packaging

To ensure the products arrive in perfect condition, special care is put in the packaging of your order. We use air cushions or bubble wrap in our shipping boxes and when the order requires it, we use insulated materials and cold packs in order to have an ideal temperature throughout the transportation process. Please ensure you recycle these materials.

 

8. Shipping in Warm Weather

To ensure your sweets arrive in a manner that will ensure food safety and preserve quality. During warm months, and year-round to destinations in warmer climates, we include insulation to protect freshness and exquisite quality. Additionally, we put frozen ice packs in these thermal bags to ensure freshness. Please ensure you recycle these materials.

 

9. Absent Recipient

a) Local Delivery by La Biscuitery: if it is agreed before hand that someone will be there and it is not the case, then we will leave the box at your front door. La Biscuitery will not be responsible for any lost or damaged package.

b) Express Shipping Canada-USA: it is important to provide us with the complete information relating to the delivery address. For perishable goods, it is the buyers' responsibility to ensure someone is available to reception the package. We provide a tracking number for each order to help you in the process.

 

10. To Modify A Delivery

11. Lost or Stolen Package

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, however, we are here to help you in any way we can. Please contact our Customer Service for support.

 

12. Product Substitution and/or removal

Since our products are perishable and sometimes seasonal, we reserve the right to make substitutions of items of equal or greater value as necessary to ensure timely delivery of your gifts. At our discretion, we may also remove an out of stock item(s) from your order to prevent shipping delays. If an item in your order is unavailable and no subsitution is possible, you will be credited the amount, and an email notification will be sent.
